After months of dealing with overwhelming stale and smelly odors from my three year old Samsung Washer, thanks to the WASHING MACHINE CLEANER, the washer actually smells like brand new. After months of trying every cure listed on the internet, including bleach, Hydrogen Peroxide and running the Self Clean cycle at the end of daily washes, I found a recommendation for ACTIVE WASHING MACHINE CLEANER, listed as a final cure for the smelly washer, on my inquiry with ChatGPT, after trying everything else, with no success. After doing a Self Clean cycle, I threw in two tablets in the washer and followed the instructions to fill up the washer to the highest level/longest cycle and at the hottest water setting. At the end of the wash, I opened the washer and was met with a clean smell, that I've not experienced in years. I wiped that inside carefully and left the lid open for the night and again in the morning, the fresh smell was still there. It's now been two weeks since the original treatment and I did the first new treatment (the company recommends that you do two treatments a month, with one tablet each time and again, I'll say that this product really works! I highly recommend this product and have become a life long and loyal customer. My thanks to Jess and her family for such an amazing product.
I have a top load washer. I have 2 cats & a dog that shed, a lot. We also have hard water (no water softener). I do use vinegar with every wash cycle, but I still get gunk & hard water stains on the stainless steel drum. I didn't expect much, I've used washer cleansing tablets before with minimal success. However, these definitely worked. 1) The tablet dissolved relatively quickly. I used the hottest water setting, which I never use when doing laundry.2) The final results were a shiny SS drum, EXCEPT where the water didn't hit. My mistake, I used a lower water level setting. I will use the MAX level next time.3) Per mftr instructions, use 1 tablet every 2 weeks. Hmmm. Seems like a lot of water wasted, so I will probably do once a month. I hadn't cleaned it in over a year, so, yeah, it can handle once a month cleaning.4) I can't tell how well it cleaned the drain lines, but given how sparkly clean the tub is, I'd say it had to have helped. I would buy these again. Tried 2 other brands that didn't provide the same results. I do in fact keep my washing machine very clean and I have 6 cats.My machine is 6 years old and it never smells musty. Part of this is in fact due to the machine you buy; obviously my high quality LG washer is just better in every way. It somehow keeps itself clean but I still use cleaners and I’ve used these twice.They are easy to use; just unwrap, chuck it in the drum and select tub clean. This stuff suds up a lot to clean the drum.They come with a lot, that is value for money. They seem to function well but they are un-scented. I prefer things like this to leave a scent.

Each one is individually wrapped. They're smaller tablets that pack a huge bunch of freshness. Not only did it get the inside of my washer looking like new again, but it got rid of the musty odors.I have a top loader and can't believe how well this worked in it. Definitely putting these on my shopping list for when I need more.
These tablets work great and are super easy to use. Very convenient since each tablet is individually packaged.Be aware these are made in China.I was concerned because there is a label on the package that said STOP and don’t use until you scan the QR code. Like there is something important to know before using these. Unfortunately the QR takes me to a blank website with no information.So what is so important about these that we all need to know??
I like how these are individually wrapped and there is a calendar inside the lid to keep you on a schedule. I did not appreciate the bright red qr code scaring you into scanning before using the product that actually led to a broken page which I'm guessing is supposed to be a reordering page so knocking a star off for the scammy marketing
This does a pretty good job of helping get rid of odors in the washing machine, it leaves behind a fresh scent. If your machine is really dirty, you might need to run two cycles and use two tablets. The tablets are individually wrapped, so they're easy to store. There's an expiration date in 2028 on the back of the box, which I thought was interesting - not sure what ingredient is in this that would expire? The price ($19.99 at the time of this review) is fair for a pack of 24 tablets.
This box of tablet come in a box with tablet packed in individual bags. This helps a lot to not only store the tablets but also easy to carry for traveling. It's almost an essential for carrying when traveling in different locations before using the public washing machine.Once the cleaning cycle is done the tumbler would be ready to use right away. There is no odor nor scent left over after the wash so no further rinse is required.Pricing wise it seemed to be reasonable as each cleaning cycle is less than one dollar cost.
So far, I think based off one tablet it cleaned our washer well but not as good as I thought it might. Our washer has that rubber piece just inside the door and after running the cycle as instructed there was some grime build up in that section but I was able to pull that out and throw it away. This rating may be better after a second cycle since you are meant to do it twice a month from what it looks like but we will see.

My washing machine doesn't get that much use so it doesn't get that dirty, and I have a top-loader (after not liking front loaders with drawers and doors that have to be kept open to avoid smells and mold growth) so that helps keep the drum aired. But, I buy this for my parents, who also have a top loader and they use it once every couple months. They are happy with it, and my dad has asked me to reorder the product when he runs out. The handful of times I've used it, I am also satisfied with the product.If you have an older machine that hasn't been cleaned/maintained frequently, it's not going to take the place of a manual cleaning, but this is a great way to maintain your washing machine drum. I've compared it with a newer product on the market and they seem to work pretty similarly. It rinses clean and completely, and helps remove some hard-water stains.

I usually use vinegar or bleach to help keep my machine free of bacteria, mold, and other yucky remnants that may be lingering in the washer. The washing machine tablets do just as good a job as vinegar or bleach, but unlike vinegar or bleach, they don't have a strong, unpleasant scent. The scent is clean and doesn't linger after your machine's cleaning cycle is complete. To use, simply drop a tablet into your washer's drum and run a load as usual. If your machine has a tub clean setting, definitely use it to ensure your washer gets very clean. The tablets dissolved easily and left no weird residue. I had no issues with smells transferring to my laundry after use. The tablets work well enough to use regularly and are something I would purchase again.

Absolutely convenient and the better alternative to bleach. Leaves the drum visually clean with no foul odors. Smells refreshing. A must have in the laundry room. Worth the value!
This pet-focused washer cleaner seems to work well. My washer wasn't too dirty so I'm not sure how well it cleans a really linty, dirty, stained machine, but I felt like mine was a little cleaner after. It's supposed to loosen and remove pet hair. I love that it eliminates odors without any fake fragrance b/c it's scent free.I also like that it has ingredients that actually work. It's not just a cheap mix of salt and perfume like some other ones are.The enzyme and plant-based formula makes my washer feel truly clean, and it’s safe for all machines and septic systems. Definitely worth the price if you have pets and want a non toxic, hassle-free way to keep your laundry fresh and hair-free.
Product does a pretty good job for cleaning your washer. If needed, it also works great to clean soiled linen, especially urine. As soon as the product touched water, it was activated immediately and reacted and built foam. It works pretty good. The smell isn't overwhelming and it's pretty easy to use.
Works well. The enzyme, fragrance-free formula cut through musty pet odors in my washer and helped loosen fur so it was easy to wipe out after the cycle. Tablet dissolved fast on a hot clean cycle and left the drum looking shiny; like others noted, spots above the water line may still need a quick wipe. Compatible with HE/top-load/front-load and septic safe. With 24 tablets you’re set for months, box suggests twice monthly; I’ll probably do monthly to save water, but it’s nice having the option. Not a miracle worker, but for pet homes it’s a solid, low-effort refresh. I’d buy again in an instant.
These washing machine cleaner tablets are great for our almost-new top loading LG washer. Although our washer is almost-new (less than 3 months old) we started noticing some small brown/light-brown markings on our clothes that we found out were mold and soap residue.This washing machine tablet was very easy to drop into our washer tub before running a cleaning cycle. So far, we haven't seen any more of that soap residue on our clothes but we have also backed off a little bit on our soap usage since it is an HE (High - Efficiency) machine.The cleaner tablets are all individually packaged and come in a nice box. The instructions state to use two tablets per month but if you don't run as many loads of laundry, you can probably stretch this out to only use one tablet per month.
There are a good amount of tablets in this set and they’re easy to use. I didn’t notice any strong scent from them, but they really did freshen up my smelly washing machine. I used the tub clean setting and ran a full cleaning cycle, and once it was done, the washer smelled fresh and clean without that usual old water smell.I like that these tablets don’t just cover up odors with a strong fragrance. They actually seem to remove the smell instead of masking it. I have a cat, so I was curious about whether they help with pet hair, but I don’t really notice hair in my machine anyway.Overall, these are great cleaning tablets that work well and come individually wrapped for convenience. They feel like a good value, and I especially love that they’re unscented.
I tried these washing machine cleaner tablets to freshen my top loader washer. I was a bit skeptical if a tablet could really make a difference, but after running one tablet on the "Tub Clean" cycle of our LG True Balance washer- which takes about an hour on my machine, the tub is noticeably shinier and it smells much fresher. I would expect this may also lead to slightly cleaner clothes as well. This box contains 24 tablets which it claims is a 12 month supply. The box doesn't mention frequency, but since the directions only recommend one tablet per cycle, I assume you are supposed to clean the tub every 2 weeks or so. I also appreciate that the product is septic safe.
These washing machine tablets are such a help, especially for those of us who have pets with a lot of shedding. I chose these over other products because of the specialized formulation especially for homes with pets. The ingredients listed were also ones that i had heard of before, and I knew that these would work extra hard in our machine. Not only did these tablets remove the odor in my machine, but I have not been able to smell the pet odor since! The pet hair which had accumulated quite a bit was also dissolved as stated in the description. Overall I am so happy with these and would definitely recommend to other pet owners, or those who have smelly machines in general.
These washing machine tablets are so great! They work well, and my clothes seem cleaner afterwards (no more streaks of detergent due to a dirty washing machine).To be clear, you don't use this with clothes. You add it into the drum of your washing machine, make sure to do the hot water setting, and then run a normal load.Side note: my machine's normal mode is eco, which means less water... So for me I chose heavy duty + 2nd rinse.This cleaning stuff is good, but without water it likely can't do what it needs to do.What else is awesome is this has a 1 year supply. They say to use one every 2 weeks. The inside flap of the container has a little spot where you check off each week over the next 12 months. Helpful to a person like me! I set a reminder on my phone for every other week, so between that and having this tracker, I'll be able to keep up with cleaning my washing machine.(BTW the QR code they say you must scan before using the product takes you to a link that isn't active so don't bother scanning that)
- The box came wrapped in plastic and had a productions date as well as an expiration date printed on it.- The price is a bit over $1 per cleaning (2 tablets) which is a much better price than the Tide version that I have purchased in the past. I also like that this comes in a bigger pack; it is a 12 month supply.- My washer does not have an agitator and I find that it starts to get a build up underneath the bottom plate that breaks up into little flakes that end up on my clothes. I think this is a buildup of detergent.- After using two of these tablets, I noticed that they had managed to break up the buildup and allow it to be wiped out of the drum. It also made it smell really nice and clean.- I think that I may try running the cleaning cycle twice next time. I noticed that it also helped to clear out some of the cat hair; I feel like running a second cleaning cycle might pull out even more that could then be wiped away.- Overall, this is a good product. I think it’s probably even more useful for front loading machines that have mold/musty smells. Although I do think that afterwards, my clothes came out cleaner which is a huge plus!- Given the price and the fact that I saw a difference after just one use, I think this is a 5/5 star product.
We are a household of two adults and four cats. Due to our active hobbies, we produce a lot of laundry between us, but I don't see myself needing to use more than one of these per month with our laundry volume.We invested in a new GE Combo last year after only ever having had previously-owned (and poorly maintained before us) laundry appliances. Maintenance and care are important to us so our machines last a long time, perform well, and care for our laundry in return - doubly so since our new appliance is both the washer AND the dryer (works great BTW).Before this, I used bleach in my machine's self-clean cycle, one of the options approved-of by the manual. But measuring out bleach sucks, you have to be careful of getting it on you or your clothes, it has a strong smell, the list goes on.But these are effortless - tear open a pack, drop it in the drum, run the self-clean cycle. It left behind a faint clean smell, not at all perfume-y - which I personally prefer as we use fragrance-free detergent due to household sensitivities. The drum looked clean and showed no sign of residue, but I always run a quick 2nd cycle after a clean just in case. If you don't want to do that, I recommend washing a load of whites after a cleaning cycle to prevent anything on darker clothing.I like how easy this makes things for my family. Now, we don't have any kids around - so in the same way that you wouldn't want to leave pods accessible to tiny humans who might think they're a little treat, you should store these securely just in case. In their wrappers, they look eerily similar to caramels I make in the fall!
I love this cleaner. First, it couldn't be easier to use. Remove from package, toss into empty washing machine, run a normal hot cycle. Easy as that! Second, it smells awesome. It isn't overbearing or too powerful, just a subtle clean smell. Third, it made my clothes come out smelling so much better because it doesn't just clean the drum, it actually cleans out the drain tubes and everything. The package says to wipe down any residue afterwards, however I didn't have any at all. To be safe and really flush the stuff out, I ran one quick 'self clean' cycle after, but I'm not entirely sure I needed to. One of the best parts though is the packaging. I absolutely love it. The inside of the lid has a little checklist to check off when you've used a pod so it helps you keep track of doing it bi-weekly throughout the entire year. I think thats such a clever little idea! Overall, this absolutely deservers the 5 stars its getting
